Great Summer

No, I don’t have time for my blogging in the summer. I miss it, but I have really enjoyed all the activities and keeping busy with the kids.

We got back from Nags Head NC last week. We spent five days at the beach. It was lovely. Oh and so nice to just go and relax. I only had to change two or three diapers the whole time. Cullen was awesome. I had quite a lazy time. The weather was great. Both kids loved playing in the sand. Lucy really liked the waves. I had to watch her closely, because she would just run to the waves as they were going out and then would come back in and knock her over. It was so much fun.

Yesterday we went and visited with the kids godparents. We had a cookout. We also went out and about. They live in the city where I went to college and it was so nice to just go back. I miss the quiet. Northern Virginia is just so noisy. I can’t complain too much, because I also like all the things there is to do up here. Next week we are probably going to take a trip into D.C. for fun.

Gregory is a busy boy who will start kindergarten next month. It doesn’t seem possible. He is always moving and doing things. He is my big helper.
I was putting him to bed and he said “Mommy say don’t let the bad boys bite”.
He meant Don’t let the bed bugs bite. I thought that was so cute though.

Lucy is growing and moving and starting to say all sorts of words. Oh and boy does she love her food. It seems as if she never stops eating.

It is crazy how there little personalities are different. Gregory was a quiet baby, but never could sit still. Lucy is as noisy as ever, but doesn’t mind being in one place for a while. She is a climber and is moving all the time too now though. Yes and Gregory is never quiet. Oh and in February Lucy will be a big sister. Gregory is also very excited about the addition. We are blessed. That is also another reason I have not been blogging. I have been so darn tired and sick.
