But that is alright
The Christmas season seems to be crazy for most people. It is for us, but in a every day of my life kind of way. The Christmas tree is fun for both kids. The ornaments have gone on and off the tree many times. There is a strand of lights that Gregory has unplugged and I need to find an other strand to plug it back in to. Toys are scattered all over the floor. They get that way every day. It all gets cleaned up at the end of the day, but during the day the living room is a fun zone.
Gregory can now pick Lucy up out of the pack-n-play, ugh. There is no safe place for me to put her. That is alright though.
The other day I had a sick migraine and was throwing up and Gregory patted me on the back and said he was burping me and told me I did a good job.
Lucy is pulling herself up everywhere and can stand for five seconds unassisted. She already gets around everywhere. I probably don’t have too much longer until she can walk, then I am in for a lot more trouble.
Lucy is also pretty easy to put to sleep. I could tell she wanted her nap today because she started sucking her fingers. I put her down and she was asleep in a minute.
When Lucy cries Gregory sings her a song “Corndogs Corndogs yummy yummy yummy.” She stops crying. I have no idea where he comes up with his lyrics.
All is good. I am busy, but can’t seem to get anything accomplished. My main goal is to keep the kids alive and well, any more than that I consider a bonus. I have two very high energy children that keep in motion pretty much every waking moment.
My life is pretty good.

It sure sounds like Gregory likes being a big brother! I love the corndog song; that is adorable.
And it sounds like Lucy is growin gin leaps and bounds every day. I hope you are managing to find some rest in all the joyful chaos. (smile)
These really are the best years of your life--it's great that you're relishing them.
When your older kid can amuse your younger kid - or quiet her - then life would be good alright.
Great attitude! I hope you have a very merry Christmas!
