I put my two week notice in at work. Yes, I am quitting. There have been booking changes that have left my schedule freer than is acceptable. My paychecks have been nearly cut in half. With child care and all the other bills it just doesn’t work anymore. Plus I am at work longer and for less money, which makes that change unwelcome. So, in two weeks I will again be a stay at home mom.
This decision has not come easily. I have been sick the past two weeks. I know I got sick because I have just been too exhausted. The day I was crying at the bus stop I knew I needed to do something. So now finances will be tighter, but I know it is the right decision.
I am also happy to know I will get to spend more time with both Gregory and Cullen. You see Cullen has to work many evenings. So, there were days when we only saw each other at 6 am for a few minutes. I feel as if we are becoming a family again.
Well I am still very tired so I shall go get some sleep.
(see you in two weeks)

I'm sorry that things turned out the way they did at work. But it sounds like your decision is right for your famiy right now and that's all that matters. And taking good care of your growing, unborn baby, too!
I completely udnerstand what you mean about ships inthe night w/your husband. It gets like that around here, too, sometimes w/Niksdad's school schedule.
Hang in there; two weeks will be up before you know it! Sending you good thoughts and warm wishes.
You are a smart woman. There will be opportunities coming your way. Just don't over stress yourself. Take some rest. Being pregnant takes a toll on your emotions and body. Enjoy your boy before you get really busy with the 2nd one.
It sounds like the right decision for your family. I hope the next two weeks pass quickly for you.
I have a feeling that a year from now you won't be able to remember life any other way.
you were probably going to have to quit once it got closer to having your baby anyway, and if you have 2 young children it's probably not worth going back to work unless you can afford a nanny. You need your rest - you made the right decision.
It sounds to me like you made the best decision for you and your family. Rest and can't wait to hear from you in 2 weeks!
You'll have more time for Cullen, Gregory AND BLOGGING! Seriously, though, congrats on making a tough decision.
I know that was a hard decision to make, but I'm sure all will work out just fine. Hope you feel better soon!
My prayers are that this is the best thing for you and your family. That some great happiness will come out of this...
A tough but good decision. It will work out, you'll see.
Aw...this new little one will bring so many amazing memories for your family. Congrats.
YOU'RE ALMOST THERE!!!!
Good for you to make such a tough decision, but sounds as though it is the right one.
Hope your last 2 weeks fly by.
