A part of life

Like the caterpillar we are born. We eat and grow. Eventually we have to change. As butterflies we leave our parents and go off on our own. Time passes we have little caterpillars of our own and they may even have caterpillars of their own. Then after a time we cannot fly any further. So we lay down and rest. All we can do now is to hope that the beauty we brought into this world is remembered.

Cullen’s Grandmother Sue passed away early yesterday morning. Sue lived to be 89 years old. She had four caterpillars of her own. One of which is Cullen’s mom.

This picture is of Gregory searching out caterpillars and having found one.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope Gregory remembers her as he grows up, because I never even met any of my grandparents.
