The Next Wedding

Shawn, Cullen’s brother, will be getting married in June. The lovely lady is Sarah. Shawn and Sarah met in Florida where most of Cullen’s family lives. The amazing part of this story is that both Shawn and Sara lived in Virginia shortly before they met. So they could have met in Virginia, but didn’t meet till they moved to Florida. The nice part is that we get to see Shawn and Sarah when they come up to visit Sarah’s family. Isn’t it funny how things work out?

Ouch
Well as my head is in pain at least the medicine is working for Gregory. He slept through the night last night.
Gregory had an ouch moment too. He pulled a tin full of Daddy’s video game stuff down on him today and it skinned his chest. It looked bad, but no blood.
I need to start fixing meals and serve them all at once. Lately when it is only Gregory and I we have dinner but in courses. I get vegetables and we eat them. Then I know we are still hungry so I get something else and we eat that. Then I find something else and we eat that. Dinner turns into one long snack. It is usually a healthy snack though. So that is good.
Now I will have some tea and watch TV. Wouldn’t it be cool if I could eat some vea? Then I would be drinking tea and eating vea while watching TV. There is no such thing as vea so I can’t eat it. If this confused you just ignore it.

Canceled
MY GOODNESS someone just lit fireworks or I think it was fireworks. I am not going outside to find out.
Gregory is growing into quite a big boy. Most of his meals he eats at the table. He is becoming very independent but at the same time needing his momma. He would not go to bed at his usual time. He just wanted to cry so I spent more time with him then tried to put him to bed again. He finally went. So now I will go get in a bath and then drink some water while snacking on something and study for my certification test. I will study, I promise to.

Holding hands to pray
Well, Gregory now prays with us. At a meal we all hold hands and pray. Before I had to hold on to his head or arm to include him, but now all we have to do is put out our hand and he will stick one hand in my hand and one hand in his daddy’s hand. He will leave his hands in our hands as long as we are praying. That is just something that I thought was special.
Now, about my Mary Kay business. I have been working and I made money yesterday. Yea! I had a skin care class. Three people came. It was fun. I have another class on Saturday. Oh and one of the women who was there brought her two children, one had just turned two and the other child was 10 months old. Gregory had company. Well I am very excited still. Smiles

Our trip to Charlottesville

We went to Charlottesville and saw Cullen’s best friend Shane and his parents. Shane’s dad, Billy had a stroke and is recovering from it. Gregory and Billy seemed to like each other. We all had a good visit.

I have not posted in a while because I have been very busy. My husband’s family came to town. His parents stayed with us. They had to sleep in the living room on the futon because we have no extra beds or rooms. I set up the pack-in-play so they could put all their stuff in it. That way I did not have to worry about Gregory getting in to everything. The visit was nice. Cullen and I had a chance to go to Kings Dominion. It was a lot of fun and we got to visit some friends in Charlottesville. Everyday went so fast. Yes and the main reason for the visit was Cullen’s younger sister’s wedding. Meghan and Gabe got married on Saturday the 14th of April. Meghan and her new husband Gabe have mental retardation so they will be living with Meghan’s parents. This ceremony gave Meghan and Gabe a chance to do what many people who are in love want to do. I will post many pictures of the wedding because I promised to.

Yea!!! More pictures! I can take new pictures. I have a new camera. I just had to use it and why use it if I can’t let the world see. So here I am going picture crazy over my little boy. The camera is quite nice. I don’t remember the name of the camera and can’t read the name because I can’t see the box or the camera very well. It is fun. I just wish I could see better. Oh well it is fun anyway. Although it is also a little hard because Gregory won’t hold still. I will have more pictures of Gregory with Easter eggs tomorrow.
