Losing things makes me crazy. Friday I lost my keys. I didn’t know if they were in the house or outside. We called everywhere, twice. Cullen drove around to all the places we had been. The keys were nowhere to be found. We looked all over the house and even went through the trash (yuck) to find them. Still no keys. I couldn’t sleep. My house keys, car key and remote, mailbox key, and lockbox key were all missing. How frustrating and stressing. I didn’t want anyone to find the keys near the house and break in or steal the car. What would I do? On top of that we only had one set of house keys left. They were Cullen’s keys. So, I had to stay up till midnight to make sure Cullen could get in the house, worry, worry worry.
Last night Cullen got home I was stilled worried about my keys. I wanted to go out and look for them, but Cullen said no. I was so upset. I decided I was going to take everything out of the front closet. I finally found my keys under the stroller. Thank heavens! I must have dropped them when I put the stroller back after my walk with Gregory. Now that is stressful. Now I have one more thing to be thankful for, my keys.

It is true he does look like a little angel when he is sleeping. Gregory sleeps much less than he did when he was first born, but for a longer time. I am so happy about this sleep pattern, but I just can’t help but to be touched when I see him sleeping. Well now that Gregory is sleeping I will take a little nap too.

Gregory and the many balloons

Remember this balloon? Gregory is balloon crazy. He loved the balloon he got his Daddy for his 25th birthday in October. He will see a balloon and get so excited. They are the best thing in the world to him. Since then Gregory has gotten four balloons and here is his balloon story.

This is a Santa in a sleigh balloon. Gregory got this from Daddy’s grocery store for free. It was after Christmas and they heard that Gregory liked balloons. He was very excited.

This is a heart shaped I love you balloon. Daddy said that Gregory grabbed onto it and would not let go. Daddy had no choice but to buy it.

This is a Scooby heart shaped balloon. It was marked down to a dollar and Gregory’s other two balloons had gone flat by then. So, Daddy got this balloon for Gregory.

This balloon is a super bowl balloon. Someone at Daddy’s work saved it especially for Gregory. Right now both the Scooby and the super bowl balloons have air so Gregory walks around the house with both in his hands. So many balloons and Gregory isn’t even a year and a half old yet.
I am sure Gregory will have the luxury of balloons as long as Daddy works at a Grocery store, because there will always be holidays that pass with left over balloons. No need for the balloons to go to waste with Gregory around.

I Need Sleep!
Today I am recharging for school tomorrow. Both Monday and Tuesday I was at school from 9:15am to 10:30pm. Now that makes for a long day. I am not going to school today because I need to watch Gregory. I am going to get this place cleaned up well not completely but what needs to get done will. I am gone for two days and the place turns into a disaster. Oh well. I also think I need a nap. Well I need to go and get Gregory ready for lunch.

I love Gregory's hugs
I am sitting at my computer and not sure what I should write but I guess I will just write what I am thinking about.
I have a clinic at school tomorrow so I will massage people who come in. I don’t want to go because I am tired of my school. I wish I was done. I have less than two months to go.
I just read a woman’s blog who just had a little boy. Just thinking of babies makes my brain mushy. I just think of my little Gregory when he was first born. Oh how tiny he was and cuddly. I spent so many hours just holding him. I am so glad I held him so much. Now he is so busy he hardly takes the time to slow down for a hug. His hugs are the best because they are the biggest ever. He just lunges himself into my arms. Then there are the unexpected hugs where he comes up to me and gives me a little hug. Oh all his hugs are so precious and they just touch my heart. Then the giggles are so sweet. Oh but right now I am just loving the hugs. Yes tonight right now all I am thinking about are the hugs.
Oh and why does hearing about a new born make me go all mushy? I am not ready for another baby, but really. Oh sweet little hugs.
Gregory is in bed now. He was very sweet today. I hope it warms up soon, because I would really like to take Gregory out for a walk. Oh his little hands would get so cold. Oh he has cute hands. Oh I love his hugs. Can you tell I got lots of hugs today?

Happy Valentine’s Day!
I got flowers from Cullen on my birthday and as far as I am concerned that counts for Valentine’s Day too. It is a cold day, but a nice one. I have never made too much out of this day. I guess because my birthday is a couple of days before and my birthday is more important to me than Valentine’s Day. I just want to know that I am loved and I do. So, I am happy. SMOOCHES!

another tooth and more
Oh I have been so busy. Gregory has tooth 14 coming in on the bottom left. He is a very busy boy. He still loves his new toy set. He is going down the slide forwards now. He is just growing up so fast.
My birthday went great! On Saturday some of my friends from school picked Gregory and I up and took me out to dinner. It was a very nice restaurant. Then they took me to the mall. They took me to Victoria’s Secret and what I got is a secret. They also got me an Oreo milk shake. It was so good. I had a blast. It was so much fun. I am so glad they planned a birthday party for me. It was a surprise and what a good one.
Then on Sunday Cullen got off work early and took me out to eat and to a movie. I saw the messengers. It was scary. I am not very good when it comes to scary movies. It ended ok so I was fine going to sleep that night.
Then Monday I went to school and we had no teacher. I took a test and got an “A”. I missed one, oh well. Today we did not have a teacher again. They have been putting our class in with other classes. I don’t think I mentioned that my teacher quit. She needed too, because the school has been crazy lately. The only bad thing is that right now we have no teacher. Today we got out of school an hour early. They gave us all the hours for the day though, because they did not give us a lunch. I don’t think that there will be school tomorrow due to the ice. Either way I could not go because of Cullen’s work schedule.
Well, that is my life up to date. Of course more happened but I have a chapter to read. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Smiles!

Gregory’s new play set
There are no playgrounds near our condo. So Gregory has not been able to play on one. He is also a climber. He climbs the kitchen table, coffee table, chairs, crib, toy box, changing table, baby gates, etc… Last night we got Gregory a play set. Cullen put it together last night and boy I don’t think I have ever seen Gregory so excited. He just loves it.
It has a little door that opens and closes. Gregory loves to open and close doors. It has a slide. Gregory loves slides. He slides down backwards though. The two other sides have holes that Gregory can use to climb on. And the bottom hole in those sides Gregory can also crawl through. It is made of very hard plastic. It will hold up very well. Oh and we put a blanket over it and it is like a little cave. Gregory likes doing that too. Last night when he was playing on it he was just squealing with delight.

Lucky day
This morning I went into Gregory’s room to change his diaper and get breakfast. Well, I walked in to find a naked baby. He had taken off his sleeper and diaper. Luckily he didn’t poop.
Then after breakfast I left him in his room and took my shower. I finished got dressed and went to go get Gregory. I tried to open his door, but it was stuck. He had pushed a bin of his blankets to the door and was standing on the bin trying to open the door. Luckily the door open inwards so he couldn’t open the door with the bin pushed up against it. Well, he understands how doors open and close.
I guess today I am lucky. Now if I was only into football I would make a bet. To tell you the truth I don’t care who wins. I don’t think I have seen any games of either team this year. But I can’t wait for the food!

This is the same outfit Gregory wore last year. It still fits, but better. He is so cute. This is my favorite football player. I can’t believe how much he has grown over a year. I just had to put him in the same outfit as last year.

School
My instructor at my massage school is leaving. We should get a new instructor soon. That will be interesting. It is always a pain to have to explain to someone new that I can’t see and tell them everything I need so they accommodate me. I probably won’t even see the new instructor very often anyway. Cullen’s schedule is such that I can only be at school one full day. I have to be home so I can watch Gregory. I have to make up the time I miss. That is not bad though, because I study so much anyway. It shows though, because every test I have taken I have gotten an “A” on. My studying shows in my grades. I also gave my instructor a massage and she said I was great. That was a confidence booster. I can tell the difference of how I massage now verses how I massaged when I first started school. It is nice to know that I have gotten better. There will always be so much for me to learn in this field. I don’t know where I will go from here, but I have a good starting point now. One of the things I would like to try is taking classes in infant massage and massage preemie babies in the hospital. Babies really benefit from massage. It would be nice to make a difference in the lives of little babies. There is so much that I find interesting. I am really glad that I chose this field.
Super Bowl
Tomorrow is the super bowl and we are going to have some friends over. The food should be good. I don’t care too much about the game. I may cut out for a while and blog some. My girl friend may not come. So, I can just let the guys be guys and have a rowdy time. I am sure there will be some noise, so I will probably have to keep Gregory preoccupied, because he probably won’t be sleeping. Maybe he will watch who knows with a one year old.
I am going to get some sleep now because I will probably be up in a couple of hours with Gregory. His runny nose is also clogged up and that has been keeping him up and waking him up at night. So, here’s to another sleepless night. Now, hopefully that I have said that he won’t wake up.

I am going to get some sleep now because I will probably be up in a couple of hours with Gregory. His runny nose is also clogged up and that has been keeping him up and waking him up at night. So, here’s to another sleepless night. Now, hopefully that I have said that he won’t wake up.
Tooth number 13
Tooth number 13 is coming in on the top left of Gregory’s mouth. It is coming in with a very runny nose and keeping Gregory up most of the night. Which means that Momma is up most of the night too with a baby who is less than happy. Gregory’s nose is running so much. I almost have to tackle him to wipe up his runny nose. Poor child, he is not use to having cold symptoms. I am also not use to having a child with cold symptoms. I like being a spoiled momma. I like my happy healthy boy. That is ok because I also love the little boy that is running around the house with a runny nose.
My Grandma and Grandpa came over today and cooked some chicken, baked beans, green beans, and bread pudding. It was very yummy. I should have the food for a couple of days. My Grandma is a very good cook. It is nice to be able to relax while they are here. Well, I mean not worry about cleaning and school. I still had to run around after Gregory. He is such a busy child.
Last Tuesday we went down to Charlottesville. I gave two massages while I was down there and Cullen got his computer. The one he was using here broke. So, now he has a computer to play his games on again. He has been a little better with his playing time lately. He took care of the bills last night played some on his game and then watched Law and Order with me. That makes me so happy. All I want is the important stuff done and a little attention, and he can go off and hide on his computer. Well, I have laundry to do and a little boy to play with.
Oh one more thing my little toe on my right foot finally stopped hurting. I had stubbed that toe on November 13.
