The Magician

Ever since I was little I wanted to have a child. I thought it was magic, like when you kissed a guy and wanted to have a baby you would, but you had to be married first. At the time I did not know any mothers that were not married. Take into consideration that I was very young. Well, I did not like boys. So, I came to the conclusion to have a child I would have to adopt one. Well, as you know my opinion of boys changed. I fell in love, got married, and then kissed my husband. And I wanted to let everyone know that Gregory was magic, wonderful magic, that God decided to perform. Now that is a magic trick I would like to see again, but not any time soon. So, it is true babies come from magic, heavenly magic.

Church

Cullen, Gregory, and I went to church today. Gregory like always was quiet. It was nice to go. Cullen and I haven’t been back to church since Gregory was born, mostly because of Cullen’s crazy schedule. Today was the first Sunday of Advent. I really can’t believe that it is already Christmas time again. It is Gregory’s first Christmas. I know he won’t remember it but it will be memorable because it will be the first Christmas with the three of us as a family. It is still hard to believe I am a mom.

Already Two Months Old

Well, I have been so busy. I spent the weekend with my dad and I am a mommy. The mommy part explains the part about being busy. I pulled out all of Gregory’s 3-6 month clothes, because he has outgrown most of the 0-3 month clothes. He is a big boy. I weighed him on our bathroom scale and he weighed at least 13 pounds. He is growing so fast. His 3-6 month clothes are so cute so expect many pictures of my darling baby. You will see he is so sweet after you look at all his pictures you will have a tooth ache.

Gregory turned two months old yesterday. Cullen and I have wanted to see the new Harry Potter movie for quite awhile. We thought the movie would be too loud for Gregory so we did not want to take him. We also knew the movie was long and Gregory would need to eat while we were at the movie. Well, we decided to try to give him a bottle. I pumped some of my milk and Cullen and I tried to give it to him, but he would not take it and he threw it all up. Well, yesterday morning we tried to feed him a bottle again and he barely took it. He does not like the bottle. He took it though, so we decided to leave him with Jenn and Chris. That was really hard for me to do.
Cullen and I went to Harry Potter and enjoyed it. After the movie we went to pick up Gregory. They said he did very well and even ate a little. He is such a good big little boy! I love being a mommy it is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.
